A very scare WWI RAF MERITORIOUS SERVICE MEDAL casualty group with Death Plaque to L.C.M. J W Walker - 130334. Service records show him serving with 47 SQUADRON in South Russian Expeditionary Force in 1919 and dying of typhus 1920. Group includes British War Medal, Victory Medal, MSM and Memorial (Death) Plaque along with research paperwork from the 1980s confirming the scarcity of the group award. He is buried in Haidar Pasha Cemetery in Turkey.
